Coastal Waters Restaurant & Pub
The menu at Coastal looks like it came in a dream to a cafeteria-weary college student (indeed, owners Jason LeBlanc and Keith Moore did meet in college). We’re talking creative pub grub, all with quirky names. That includes the “The Quagmire” and “The Big Lebowski” (both burgers), as well as the Coastal Ringer Burger which was featured on TV’s You Gotta Eat Here and is massive: a 6-ounce patty, with homemade smoky sauce topped with a giant onion ring, bacon, and mozzarella all stuffed into a Kaiser bun and served with a steak knife stuck through its heart so you can cut it up rather than try to fit it into your mouth. On-tap craft beer is available to wash it all down. The waitstaff wear humorous T-shirts, and there’s live entertainment some nights. The roadside diner is unremarkable in looks but attracts a wonderfully eclectic crowd, from crews of bikers to gaggles of plaid-garbed golfers fresh from the greens.
