Panorama Restaurant

On the second floor of the Cabot Links Resort, the Panorama lives up to its name; a wall of windows takes in the stunning view over the greens of the golf course to the beach and ocean beyond, the whole scene facing west to pull sunsets right into the room. The menu for this dinner-only dining room shows off the best of Nova Scotia with a deft touch (lobster ravioli served in a rich, buttery, roasted garlic cream sauce, for example or snow crab salad with pink grapefruit, avocado and wasabi vinaigrette). And some 40 of the world’s best scotches and whiskeys are available for brown liquor lovers. In the Cabot Bar (open daily 6:30am-10pm), on the lower level, the views are the same and the menu is just as sure, but more affordable. I gotta say, the slow-roasted brisket sandwich with onion rings and slaw takes pub food to the next level.
