Käthe Kollwitz Museum
This museum is devoted to the works of Berlin-born Käthe Kollwitz (1867–1945), Germany’s most celebrated female artist of the 20th century. The works displayed here reveal Kollwitz’s deep emphathy with suffering caused by war, hunger and political upheaval, evoking universal emotions, both tender and disturbing.
