You could easily get swept up in the romance of this trendy but unpretentious restaurant, with a dining room overlooking the river and the city skyline beyond. The smallish menu focuses on casual but upscale comfort food: roast chicken with red wine jus, short ribs with duck-fat roast potatoes, or perhaps a juicy burger served with chips and pink peppercorn coleslaw. You can also order from a slightly more casual selection in the bar. In addition, there is the Fish Bar (evenings only), where you can eat super-fresh seafood while perched on bar stools overlooking the river. Despite its popularity, you can usually get a table at Electric if you arrive early—a full fifth are held back every night.
