Dominating Wexford’s skyline, a pair of 69m (226-ft.) spires top these twin Gothic Revival structures (1851–58), designed by architect Robert Pierce, a pupil of Augustus Pugin (designer of the Houses of Parliament in London). Mosaics on the main doors of both churches give a good bit of local history.
