Proud of their town's ancient streets and vintage buildings, the people of Wexford began giving tours to visitors more than 30 years ago. The tours are conducted by a local guide with good knowledge about the town and its history. Tours usually depart from outside White's Hotel on Abbey Street at 11am Mondays through Saturdays. Booking is essential. Note: The tours are run by a very small staff of local guides, so they might occasionally be canceled. Wexford's tourism office is pretty good at communicating if there's a problem, but you may wish to call ahead on the day to confirm, just in case.
