Restaurants in Daytona Beach
Mostly fast-food joints line the major thoroughfares of Daytona Beach, especially along Atlantic Avenue on the beach and International Speedway Boulevard (U.S. 92) near the racetrack. Elsewhere in town there are a few better options—a few at least.
One chain restaurant is worth a mention, since it’s a born-in-Florida chain: Stonewood Tavern & Grill (tel. 386/671-1200). It’s at is 100 S. Atlantic Ave., in Ormond Beach and at 2150 LPGA Blvd., in Daytona Beach (tel. 386/317-0097). Both have nice if dark mahogany interiors, solid American food, and excellent service. They’re open only for dinner and usually packed, so get advance reservations.
