On Denman Island
There aren't many places to eat on Denman. Café on the Rock, in the general store in Denman Village (tel. 250/335-2999), is open for three meals daily, and serves light entrees, vegetarian meals, and home-made desserts; it also serves alcohol The Kaleidoscope Market, in Denman Village (tel. 250/335-0451), has a deli. The only public campground is at Fillongley Provincial Park (www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks), where sites are C$19. For reservations, contact Discover Camping (tel. 800/689-9025; www.discovercamping.ca).
