For shops and boutiques, concentrate on rue du Maréchal-Leclerc, rue Levavasseur, and boulevard Féart. In the 15th-century house containing Galerie d’Art du Prince Noir, 70 av. George-V (tel. 02-99-46-29-99), you’ll find paintings and sculptures by some of the most talented artists in France. The gallery is closed from October to April. Another worthwhile destination is L’Ancien Temple, 29 rue Jacques-Cartier (tel. 02-99-46-82-88), in a former Protestant church. The high-ceilinged showrooms feature upscale porcelain, stoneware, kitchen utensils, gift items, and fresh flowers.
