Trains arrive hourly throughout the day from Frankfurt (trip time: 3 hr.) and from Munich (trip time: 4 hr.). Freudenstadt has two railway stations, the Stadtbahnhof, an older and smaller station in the center of town, and the Hauptbahnhof, about .5km (1/3 mile) south of the center. Most trains stop at both.
