Take a clue from the name of this place and get an order of the crab cakes. Yes, the menu here has a variety of moderately priced fish dishes (such as smoked mackerel with horseradish or a fish club sandwich served with chips), and more pricey whole crab or lobster. But the crab cakes are the standout, and that's saying something as all the food here is quite good (based on what's fresh at the market, so the blackboard always has twice as many options as the actual menu). Crabshakk can get cramped and crowded, so we'd encourage advance reservations, early or late in the evening so you can avoid the crowds.
