This beautiful and historic Elizabethan mansion visited by Queen Elizabeth I, James I, and Queen Mary has been featured on TV and in numerous films. Its works of art include paneling from Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace, period furniture, a unique carved chalk chimney piece, magnificent ceilings, and cushions made by Queen Elizabeth I. Lunches and teas are served in the Courtyard Tearoom daily from 11am to 5pm, and a lunch restaurant serves more substantial meals.
