Jisan Forest Resort
While not the largest ski resort in South Korea, this is definitely the closest to Seoul. You can get lift tickets for both skiing and snowboarding by time of day, starting at W36,000 for a morning or half-day ticket, and going up from there (except for the early-bird dawn ticket for W23,000). On the other side of the morning, they offer late-night skiing from midnight to 4am (Dec-Feb).
Outside of ski season, golfers can take advantage of their 18-hole courses, if you reserve at least a week in advance (tel. 031/330-1441 or -1442; www.jisangolf.com). Greens fees are W45,000 for weekdays and W60,000 on weekends, with additional fees for rentals and cart use.
