Bistro Soleiado

The bougainvillea cascades over the roof, and at night, an elegant crooner plays old classics on guitar. Yes, Soleiado is a fun choice for a romantic night, although families are welcome too, and the menu is wide-ranging enough to accommodate both. The specialty here is seafood, and it comes in all sorts of preparations from a sashimi-like dish of tuna steak (barely seared, crusted with sesame seeds and sided by a soy dipping sauce) to grilled baby lobsters and asparagus with hollandaise sauce. As you can tell, the menu isn’t particularly Mexican, but that may be a nice change of pace.
