Listed here is a very short list of accommodations that take best advantage of the small-village charm that attracted you to Kalkan in the first place. Almost all are located in the village proper, but there is also an endless string of small and medium-size hotels overlooking Kalkan Bay on the connector road to and in Kalamar Bay. British tour companies pre-book blocks of the best rooms in and around Kalkan, leaving us with the slim pickings (the small room without the view, for example) or the rare property unwilling to be confined to this type of arrangement. The properties listed here operate, for the most part, independently.
Keep in mind that while a pension or special-category hotel in the center of town will at least afford some architectural integrity, don't expect a pool. But thanks to the proximity and accessibility of nearby beaches, this should by no means be a deterrent to staying in town. If your holiday style leans more toward the plush and all-inclusive, choose one of the resorts across the bay; they are connected to the village by a water shuttle.
