Kazimierz Dolny is a classic weekend-getaway destination, so be sure to book ahead if you're arriving on a weekend since rooms tend to fill up. At other times, you're probably safe just showing up, but you still may not get the room you want. Hotels usually cut rates during the week to fill beds. There are several hotels within easy walking distance of the central square, but some of the nicer resort-type places are situated away from town and may require a cab or car ride.
