Planning a trip to Lascaux (Montignac)
Getting There — By far, the easiest way to reach Montignac is to drive northeast from Les Eyzies on D706 for 19km (12 miles).
Rail service is to the neighboring hamlet of Condat-Le-Lardin, 9.5km (6 miles) northeast. From there, taxis (tel. 05-53-51-80-46) take visitors to Montignac for 25€. The tourist office does not sell tickets for Lascaux. Online booking is recommended, although for same-day reservations it is best to call Lascaux directly.
