Restaurants in Lower Eastfjords

In Djúpivogur, the cafe at the Langabúð cultural center serves soup, sandwiches, and cake from 10am to 6pm daily, and Við Voginn at the gas station dishes up basic fish plates as well as the usual hot dogs and burgers until 9pm daily. All of your dining options are right by the harbor.

Serving Breiðdalsvík, Hótel Bláfell and Hótel Staðarborg, both have restaurants as good as or better than Café Margrét. Bláfell's restaurant is a bit more traditional. Reservations are recommended at both places. Fast food is on hand at the N1 gas station.

Fransmenn á Íslandi, has a simple cafe serving cakes and quiche in Fáskrúðsfjörður during opening hours. Hotel Bjarg serves set dinners on request for 3,000kr to 4,000kr ($48-$64/£24-£32) per person. The Shell station serves fast food daily until 9pm.
