Along the river and around the castle, there are plenty of eateries doling out grilled sausages, fish, and pancakes. On Koscuiszki Street, between the castle and the railway station, pizzerias and a McDonald's can be found. Locals endorse the sweet breads of Kawiarnia Niucka bakery (Kosciuszki 5; tel. 55/273-48-36). It's open from 8am Monday to Saturday, so it's great for the morning caffeine fix.
