Olde Marco Island Inn & Suites
Considered by many to be one of Florida’s most romantic resorts, the Victorian-style Olde Marco Island Inn & Suites dates from 1883, when Capt. Bill Collier built it on the Calusa Indian Grounds. While maintaining its historical charm, the place, located on the quietest end of Marco Island, has been remodeled and updated, and now has 51 one- and two-bedroom, two-bathroom suites all with full kitchens and decorated with a tropical Golden Girls-esque flair. The pool is lovely and private, and, while there are no restaurants on the premises, you’re within walking distance of three nearby restaurants.
