Port Pub
The on-site Sea Level Brewery and great pub food put this gastro pub on the map as soon as it opened. Situated in a new building beside the tidal Cornwallis River in nearby Port Williams (under a 10-minute drive from Wolfville on Route 358), the prices here are very reasonable and the atmosphere friendly, mostly because this is a community-owned venture created to showcase local beers (“Blooberry Pail Ale” is made with wild blueberries), foods (“Moo, Cluck, Oink” is a trio of sliders—beef, chicken, pork—with home fries), and wines, as well as to rejuvenate the community and take advantage of pastoral views across the dike lands. Everything from the salad ingredients to the cheese is locally sourced and delicious. Check the website for the live entertainment schedule.
