Packed with fun, interactive displays, this modern, hands-on museum is a must for kids (and even some adults). Most exciting adventures on site? That’s a hard call. It might be the earthquake simulator, the live science demonstrations, or the Tinkering Garage, where visitors create things. But guests can also pilot BLUE MAX, a flight-simulator thrill ride which allows users to perform daring aerial maneuvers from the safety of a cockpit. Museum-goers can also choose to walk with the dinosaurs, build a skyscraper, or learn about the water cycle in a Minecraft-style experience. Adventurous kids and adults can climb up the 75-foot-tall tower and get a glimpse of Nashville from new heights at the top (though it does get claustrophobic and hot up there in the summer, so beware).  Along the way, visitors will learn about the environment, physics, and health while roaming around pushing buttons and turning knobs. Regular shows at the Sudekum Planetarium take you exploring through the universe. Allow 2 to 3 hours.
