Bankers Alley Hotel

Formerly a 21c hotel, now a Hilton property, this art-filled oasis is a respite from the hustle of downtown; it keeps you in the middle of the action (you’re right next to Printers Alley and blocks from Broadway) but with an escape valve.  Showcasing more than 10,500 square feet of exhibition space, rotating installations in the free ground-level galleries reflect global culture. Guest rooms have plush beds and contemporary furnishings offset by large windows and fluffy robes for curling up after you wash all the honky tonk off of you. Also inside the hotel you’ll find the Gray & Dudley  restaurant, which offers twists on Southern classics that are upscale enough to be interesting but without veering into fussy territory.
