While not as well-known as the Bluebird, the Listening Room is another great place to hear singer-songwriters showcase their stuff. Shows usually have several performers who take turns singing and chat with the crowd in between. Many of these songwriters have written hits sung by someone else, so it’s a unique experience to hear them do their songs in their own way. Despite seating 300, the club retains an intimate feel. You can order dinner with your show, and it’s family-friendly, which is unique in Nashville’s increasingly loud, adult, pulsating music scene.
