With killer small plates, this Nashville outpost of the popular Charleston, South Carolina, eatery is great for groups and is one of the most consistent—and consistently fun—places to eat in East Nashville. Ordering lots of things and sharing all the dips and spreads over conversation builds the convivial atmosphere. Be sure to order whipped feta and honey—it’s addictive and B&B is, as far as I know, the place that launched this local craze. B&B is also a great option for vegetarians as they routinely turn out dishes like the Seared Wild Mushroom: a meaty abalone mushroom that’s charred and develops so much flavor it could almost pass as a buttery scallop. Finished with salty Manchego cheese and sunflower seeds, it’s so hearty carnivores won’t miss the meat.
