If you’re looking for a stay in the heart of the Williamsburg scene, this should be your pick. The hotel is a design-forward beaut, set in a former water tower factory, and has three hopping bar/restaurants, including a rooftop one with Instagram-worthy views of the Manhattan skyline. About half of the hotel’s guest rooms have the same heart-stopping views, through floor-to-ceiling windows (the others get a closer look at Williamsburg). Rooms are compact, but cleverly set up to feel larger (the walls of glass help), with drawers under the bed, a thin rail to hang clothes, and very comfortable beds. Staff are unusually helpful, and unusually attractive.
