A good ol’-fashioned ice cream parlor complete with Tiffany-style lamps and a toy shop that you have to pass to get in and out (quite a feat when you have sugar-crazed kids in tow). It was spiffed up during the pandemic, and is looking better than it has in years. The dish to order here (one tureen of it will easily satisfy two or three) is the deservedly famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, a slushy, utterly satisfying chocolate soup. You can get an idea of the magical effects of that treat if you rent the slightly treacly John Cusack comedy Serendipity (filmed here).
