Getting there

Take the A18 south from Siracusa for 27km (17 miles), then exit and head north up a hill, following blue signs toward Noto. Near town, follow yellow signs to Noto’s “centro storico” (brown “Noto Antica” signs lead to the ruins of the old city, outside town.) It’s about a 35-minute drive. It’s also easy to reach Noto by bus (55 min.; 6€ round-trip), with either AST or Interbus; a dozen buses per day run from Ortigia or Siracusa train station. Buses arrive at Piazzale Marconi, a 5-minute walk from the centro storico.
