Built on the Oslo Fjord, the stunning building of avant-garde architecture cost $840 million. The horseshoe-shaped main auditorium seats 1,369 listeners. Stage and theater technology are state of the art. Den Norske plans 300 performances a year. The "Song of Norway" never was better. The box office is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm, Saturday from 11am to 6pm.
