Great Room at Long Beach Lodge Resort
Great? This room is fantastic! High ceilings, West Coast Craftsman decor, huge stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean—it’s worthwhile just dropping by for a glass of wine and a snack. It’s even better if you stay for dinner. The menu isn’t particularly adventurous, but everything is deftly prepared and deliciously soul satisfying, such as the crisp Dungeness crab cakes or tender halibut with spot prawn croquette. Or try one of the excellent burgers or pizza with a beer or glass of wine. Also, opening in summer 2014 is the SandBar Bistro, a beachside patio that will offer casual fare like pulled-pork sandwiches and fish and chips. Perfect for après surf.
