In the restored Palazzo Riso, across from Piazza Bologni, Palermo finally gets its permanent headquarters for contemporary art. This eclectic space houses the works of some of the most avant-garde artists in Italy, and it's also a "happening" center, abuzz with activities and vernissages. The restoration was thought out purposely to use the entire grounds of the building, so that works can be displayed indoors and out. The cafe (equipped with Wi-Fi) is a hangout of art-lovers and profanes alike.
