When you step into the salon off the lobby here, you’ll be tempted to immediately throw yourself into one of the plush armchairs and order a cup of tea. Decidedly British in décor and atmosphere, the immaculate, soundproofed rooms are comfortably and conservatively furnished, with gentle swags of drapery hanging over the bed and windows. Rooms facing the street are the most pleasant, with large windows that offer views of the Théâtre du Châtelet across the street; rooms on the courtyard are larger though, and can be made into triples if needed. There are adjoining rooms for families and one suite that sleeps four. A good value, considering the quality of the lodgings and the central location.
