Like oysters on the half shell? Good, because that’s pretty much all they have here: delicious bivalves that come straight from the Marennes-Oléron region on France’s Atlantic coast. The brief and to-the-point menu gives you a choice of various sizes and grades of oysters, as well as sea urchins, clams, and shrimp. You’ll have to order at least a dozen oysters to sit down in the tiny restaurant; considering the price, you may as well order a formule, or fixed-price menu, which includes various combinations of oysters, wine, and coffee. These oysters are fresh, oceany mouthfuls of flavor that deserve a good glass of Sancerre.
