Hotels in Perquin

Within Perquín's town center, you'll find small comedores offering pupusas and simple roasted chicken or beef. The best are La Cocina de Mama Toya y Mama Juana (Carretera a Perquín, a few blocks south of the square; tel. 503/2680-4045) and La Cocina de La Abuela (Carretera a Perquín, a few blocks south of the square; no phone). Mama Juana is on the left as you enter Perquín and offers the cheapest eats: $2 for a roasted-chicken-and-rice dinner. Mama Juana's also has some not-so-attractive rooms for $6 per night.
