Drive to Montmorency Falls: Eleven km (63/4 miles) north of the city is the impressive Montmorency Falls—higher than Niagara Falls, although far narrower. It’s a spectacular cascade in all four seasons. There is an easy path to the base of the falls, and both stairs and a cable car to the top. A footbridge crosses the water where it flows over the cliff, for those with nerves of steel.
