The traditional Green Hotel (tel. 0248/502-50), signposted from the center of town and lying less than a kilometer (about 1/2 mile) away from the Lerdalshöjden , dates from the 1600s, when it first opened as an inn. Additional rooms were added in the 1960s. With breakfast and dinner included, rooms are around 1,000SEK ($200/£100); the hotel and its restaurant are open year-round.
