Le Café du Palais

Reims has some lovely examples of Art Deco architecture, not least this attractive caf run by the same family since 1930. The grandes assiettes are a popular choice: “La Champenoise” consists of jambon de Reims (coarsely cut ham terrine) and local Chaource cheese accompanied by boiled potatoes and salad. Snacks and cakes are served outside mealtimes.
