This small, always-packed restaurant across the street from the Santurce Plaza del Mercado has the best fresh seafood in the city. Start out with the seafood stuffed pepper, mixed seafood ceviche or the cod fritters. The seafood paella is excellent and will feed two, and there are rich seafood stews. The heart of the menu is a changing list of fresh catches of the day, none of which is likely to disappoint. Great Puerto Rican side dishes like perfectly fried tostones and flavorful mofongo round out the meal.
