Although the Ouzerie advertises itself as a mezedopoleion (a drinks and snack place), in fact it has a variety of food on the menu: keftedes (meatballs) with ouzo, grilled squid, pastitsio, risotto with prunes. There’s seating indoors and out (under shady awnings), and you’ll probably hear almost every language except Greek since most of the customers and many of the staff are not Greek. Still, the food is tasty and cheap—remarkably cheap for Santorini. It only takes cash.
