Sopot and Gdynia share the same transport network as Gdansk.
Visitor Information
The Sopot Tourist Office (Dworcowa 4; tel. 58/550-37-83; www.sopot.pl) is opposite the train station. From June to mid-September, it's open weekdays from 9am to 7pm, and weekends from 10am to 6pm. The rest of the year, it's open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm. The attentive staff can help you with booking rooms and hand out complimentary maps. As for Gdynia, from May to September, the handiest place to go is the Baltic Point of Tourist Information (Molo Poudniowe; tel. 58/620-77-11; www.gdynia.pl), located at the eastern tip of Skwer Kosciuszki. It's open weekdays from 9am to 6pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 4pm. If you're arriving by SKM, pop by the tourist information booth at the railway station for a map.
