Visitor Information -- Ston’s tourist office (www.ston.hr; tel. 020/754-452) is at Pelješac put 1.

Getting There --  The Libertas no. 15 bus makes three trips daily both ways between Dubrovnik and Ston. In addition, the three daily buses to Korčula and Orebić pass through Ston en-route. Note that local public transportation on Pelješac Peninsula in general is not regular or efficient—if you want to see the exceptional but hidden gems in the hills and valleys of this rarely visited part of Croatia, you’ll need a car.

Getting Around -- The roads through Pelješac are generally narrow and winding, especially the coastal roads as you approach Mali Ston and Ston. The pavement varies from flat through the valleys to heart-stopping hairpin turns in steeper areas. Walking is the best way to explore Mali Ston and Ston. There is a free parking lot outside Ston near the market.
