A restaurant that's so good it gets diners from Miami driving up just for dinner, 11 Maple Street occupies a converted old house and features the exceptional cuisine of chef/owner Mike Perrin, whose use of farm-raised meats and organic produce from the restaurant's garden is quite masterful. Dining is both indoors and out, in any one of a series of cozy dining rooms or on a covered patio surrounded by gardens. The menu changes daily and features interesting dishes (small and large plates) not typically found in these parts of Florida, such as wood-grilled North American elk with faro squash, fontina gratin, and a chestnut honey essence; and oak-grilled duck breast with wild huckleberry essence, acorn squash, pine nuts, and warm red-cabbage salad.
