You can often get a very good deal at business hotels when no conference has been booked. The public rooms here have the usual hallmarks of a HUSA business hotel: lots of polished white marble and furniture upholstered in brown leather. But the Imperial Tarraco was originally built for leisure, and the crescent shape with rooms angling out toward the sea gives most guests a pretty striking view of the water and the Roman ruins from their small balconies.
