Located in the north Luberon, this Cistercian abbey was an important religious center between the 12th and 18th centuries. Visits take in the restored 17th-century church, as well as the olive groves and dry-stone terraces that surround the abbey, now transformed into a 600-specie roseraie, or rose garden. There’s also a rose nursery (www.roseraie-abbaye.com) on site. Garden events and concerts are held at the abbey throughout the year—see the website for further details.
