The six self-catering units have been expensively renovated leaving many original features intact—exposed stone walls, granite columns, dark beams—while the furnishings and fittings are clean, modern, and functional. There’s no reception desk, but the host will keep in touch by text message to make sure your arrival is smooth and is a good source of tips about what’s hot and what’s not in Toledo. The prices, particularly if you share one of the larger apartments with friends (some can accommodate 4 people, others up to 6), represent terrific value.
