Everyone, it seems, eats at Hemingway's at some point or another during a stay in Provo. And why not? It's right on Grace Bay beach, with alfresco tables set on a breeze-filled wooden deck overlooking the sands. It's got a menu that does both international and island food with aplomb. It's got a bell you can ring if you spot JoJo, the islands' friendly dolphin, showing off his moves in Grace Bay. Don't pass up the mango shrimp salad with mango chutney, grouper Creole, the grilled lobster (in season), or the grilled or fried fish anytime, accompanied by the restaurant's signature seasoned fries. We think Hemingway's conch chowder, tomatoey, spiced just right, and packed with potatoes, carrots, celery and onions, is just right. Expect a barefoot-casual ambience during the day, where you can pop in for a bite right off the beach in your swimsuit. Live music is on tap four nights a week, and the bar has a big TV for sporting events. It's open breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
