Lower Slaughter and Stow-on-the-Wold are 6.5km (4 miles) apart. From Stow, take the A429 (the Main Fosse Way) and follow signs to Cirencester and Bourton-on-the-Water. Turn off the highway when you see signs to Upper and Lower Slaughter. The road will then divide, and you can pick which hamlet you want to head to.
To reach Lower Slaughter from Bourton-on-the-Water, head west along Lansdowne Road, turning right (north) onto A436; after a short distance, you'll see a signpost pointing left into Lower Slaughter along an unmarked road.
