Restaurants in Vail
Vail and Beaver Creek have dozens of excellent restaurants, although few of them are what you would call bargains. In addition to the ones listed below, I also like Blu's, 193 E. Gore Creek Dr. (tel. 970/476-3113), for its blueberry pancakes and killer creek-side patio; eat! drink!, 56 Edwards Village Blvd. at the Corner @ Edwards shopping center (tel. 970/926-1393), an establishment with a wine shop on one side and a cafe serving wine, cheese, and small plates on the other; and Larkburger, 105 Edwards Village Blvd. (tel. 970/926-9336), specializing in sublime burgers made of beef, turkey, and portabella mushroom, as well as salads and shakes.
