For excellent seafood dishes, try El Rey de Marisco, on the coast at Valentín Letelier 1030 (tel. 45/412093), or Hostería Kiel, General Körner 153 (tel. 45/411631), for simple Chilean fare and a superb view of Volcán Villarrica. The Travellers, Valentín Letelier 753 (tel. 45/413617), has an international traveler's hostel vibe, and a menu to match, with Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Thai, and Chilean dishes, plus the ever-popular happy hour from 6 to 9:30pm. The only restaurant with a good view of the lake between Villarica and Pucón, Martín Pescador, Pedro Montt 40 (tel. 9/309-1848), offers such exotic meats as wild boar and fine tuna steaks.
