Most motels and yeogwan are concentrated just west of the Yeongju Train Station, with other accommodations scattered in the north part of town, and around the Gongseol and Jung-ang shijangs (open markets). The best accommodations in the area are in the first-class Sobaeksan Tourist Hotel, Gahung 2-dong, Yeongju (tel. 054/634-3300), located just north of the city on the way to Sobaeksan. Another good option is the Rich Hotel, Hyucheon 2-dong, Yeongju (tel. 054/638-7070). In the Buseoksa area is the Koreana Hotel, Socheon-li, Puseok-myeon, Yeongju (tel. 054/633-4445).
